When It All Started ...Remember the Crazy 70's?
Way back in the days of Cheesy Pop Music, like that featured in "The Grimleys" when the Bay City Rollers, Slade, 10cc, and The Sweet ruled the singles charts - There were Red hot summers that lasted forever and the roads were full of Vauxhall Viva's! There were Electricity Power Cuts and seemingly never ending Union strikes! That eon ago, was when Arthur Burton originally started out! Initially on the land based radio pirates Radio Jackie and Sun Radio! He was soon making adverts for the newly emerged Independent Local Radio stations Capital Radio & LBC!
In the 80's and 90's and Noughties
Arthur has in the past been a DJ/ Radio Presenter on many stations in the UK and throughout Europe, including Radio Caroline when it was on the high seas in the 1980's (as mentioned in the popular book

“POP went the Pirates” written by Keith Skues ISBN 0 907398 03 0) A HIGHLY recommended read indeed!.
He helped set-up Radio Nova in Italy, was on the extremely popular RFL/Radio Free London, has been programme controller on LMR/London Music Radio (in  both it’s incarnations), very nearly joined UBN- interviewed near the sad demise of the famous breeding ground for Capital Radio jocks etc. But, sadly that superb station had to go! He did breakfast on RFM/Rock FM in its pirate days and was programme controller and head of production during its brief period as a legal station doing RSL broadcasts.

In the 90's he was literally on The Edge - the International short wave station as both presenter and Programme Controller, briefly appeared on EKR/European Klassic Rock- the Satellite radio station.
He was drive presenter on Brighton Festival FM/Adur FM - a station that featured Johnnie Walker, Mike Mendoza and Adrian Juste.
Also, Laser Hot Hits- Short Wave, OMR/ Offshore Music Radio-The Internet Station (where he headed the final countdown for the station's all time Top 500) and he hosted breakfast on the Special commemoration radio station celebrating the well respected sixties offshore station Swinging Radio England - where it was commented by fellow Radio professional Doug Wood (Signal Radio, VOP (Voice Of Peace etc.)

"The Arthur Burton breakfast show is the very best I have heard since hearing Kenny Everettt's on Capital Radio- I just didn't know what to expect next!".

In more recent times he did the breakfast show on Skyline Radio in Eastleigh/Southampton as well as the re-incarnated and highly successful tribute station RNI/ Radio Northsea International on the net. Also, recently he was on Royalty Free Music Radio (a station piped round UK stores) as a presenter.

Arthur has made countless productions for radio stations ranging from Radio Luxembourg when on 208- when it truly was FAB!, The American Forces Network (AFN) and many dozens of others worldwide. Recently he has concentrated more on Production work and even Animation. If you wish for a more detailed list please ask via the contact page.
